Sarah is a mom, a CPA, author of “Play The Real-Life Money Game With Your Teen” and developer of The Real-Life Money Game Parent-Teen Money Coaching Workshop. She has more than 25 years of experience gained from working with families and money in financial and accounting fields. She is passionate about changing the way families think about teens and money. An expert on family financial dynamics, Sarah uses her book and Parent-Teen Money Coaching Workshops to guide parents step-by-step toward safely transferring control of money to their teen so he or she can take more personal responsibility for managing his or her own finances.
Now you can learn how to conduct The Real-Life Money Game Parent-Teen Money Coaching Workshops in your community and get paid, by participating in the Workshop Leader Teaching Program. The ideal Workshop Leader Teaching Program participant is an individual who would like to empower him or herself, his or her children, families, friends, colleagues and/or clients with money-management skills to use for a lifetime. Employed or unemployed professionals, CPAs, teachers, stay-at-home Moms or Dads, grandparents, retirees, who can understand the book concepts—all genders, who will have some experience with children/teens to offer first-hand or relevant anecdotal experiences. Individuals who desire flexible part-time or full-time hours. Individuals who are looking for meaningful work and who would like to contribute in a unique professional role that makes the world a better place. Participants who are able to emotionally connect with The Real-Life Money Game® methodology, have a high degree of communication skills, and can be empathetic to others.
Each participant will receive a copy of the book, “Play The Real-Life Money Game With Your Teen,” a Parent-Teen Money Coaching Workbook Session I & Session II and the Workshop Leader Teaching Guide on the day of the workshop. The program schedule is shown below.
Fee: Charge per participant is $175.
Location: Washington State Society of CPAs at 902 140th Avenue N.E. Bellevue, WA, 98005-3464. On-site free parking is available.
Once you have participated in the Workshop Leader Teaching Program you are eligible for potential certification by reading the book, conducting one six-hour Parent-Teen Money Coaching Workshop Session I & Session II for five parent/teen pairs using the Power Point Presentation Outline from your Workshop Leader Teaching Guide, and submitting the evaluation forms from each parent/teen pair. Each Workshop Leader’s profit breaks down as follows:
Cost per parent-teen pair per six-hour Session I & Session II is $325
